BINGHAMTON (WBNG) – According to Mark Feinsand of MLB.com, the New York Mets are calling up infielder Luis Guillorme. Guillorme spent the entire 2017 season in Binghamton with the Rumble Ponies, dazzling with his glove and batting .283 in 128 games.
Guillorme started the 2018 season in Las Vegas and hit .300 in 28 games prior to his call up.
The Mets placed Todd Frazier on the 10-day disabled list on Tuesday, creating a need for an infielder.
According to a source, Luis Guillorme is being called up by the Mets.
