ENDWELL (WBNG) — A business owner in Endwell closed his doors Tuesday night out of the kindness of his heart.
Bouncing Monkey’s in Endwell held a private event for children with autism.
The event lasted two hours and admission was free for the children that wanted to come and play.
It started as the Wish Upon a Monkey initiative that owner Anthony DePhillip started more than a year ago.
"The thought of kids not being able to play for whatever reason bothers me a little bit,’" DePhillip said. "So i figure if the stimulus is an issue I can reduce that, if there’s anything else I can help them with we’ll do what we can and it gets them a night out to play."
There have been six autism nights since DePhillip started the program. He tries to hold one each month.
