(WBNG) — Two local history experts participated in a wreath-laying ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Arlington, Virginia Tuesday.
Frank Frear and Joe Schuerch work at the Phelps Mansion Museum in Binghamton and both share a passion for history.
While planning a trip to the Washington, D.C. area, they decided to make a stop at the Arlington National Cemetery, where the tomb is located.
In an effort to honor those who have served, they had a wreath made with the words, "We Remember."
The ceremony was held at 4:15pm on Tuesday.
