Chloe Vincente is an Evening News Anchor at 12 News. She has anchored the 5, 5:30, and 6 p.m. newscasts since September 2017. She joined the team in May 2017 as a Multimedia Journalist.
Chloe is a 2017 graduate of the University of Connecticut, where she was a journalism and communication double-major. Chloe earned the title of “New England Scholar” at UConn, achieving above a 3.7 GPA for two consecutive semesters. She was highly involved in UConn’s TV station, UCTV. There, she was a reporter, lead news anchor, and assistant news director. Chloe also served as chapter president of UConn’s RTDNA chapter.
While at UConn, Chloe interned at NBC’s TODAY Show, NBC Connecticut, WFSB Channel 3 Eyewitness News, and WNBC’s New York Live. She held an active role in covering major news events like the 2016 Presidential Election, the Paris terrorism attacks, and the Ebola outbreak.
Outside of work, Chloe is an avid tennis player and loves to explore local restaurants. She is originally from the shoreline area of Connecticut. Although she misses the beach, she is loving the Southern Tier and can’t wait to get to know more people in the community! Send her a story idea.
