Forecast Discussion:
Some scattered showers are going to linger through Halloween evening. The chance of showers is around 40%. Temperatures remain mild but drop into the 40s overnight. Some places southeast could still stay in the low 50s.

Rain develops again Thursday. Temperatures will be steady in the upper 40s to around 50. The chance of rain is 80%. Overnight Thursday into Friday morning more rain arrives. Temperatures will slowly rise into the upper 50s to possibly even the low 60s as a warm front lifts through. A thunderstorm is possible, too.

Friday, yep you guessed it, more rain! The chance of it is 70%. Depending on the location of a front there could be a large temperature gradient across the area from upper 40s and low 50s west and northwest to low 60s southeast. There is high uncertainty in the temperature forecast as a result.

The heaviest rain with this system is likely Friday night. The heaviest rain looks to fall southeast and there could be some flash flooding should the rain be heavy enough, long enough. Again, there is a decent amount of uncertainty in the forecast so please monitor for any changes. By Saturday rainfall for many locations should range from 1-1.5”. In the heaviest rain, totals could reach 2-2.5”.

Showers should linger for parts of Saturday with highs in the 40s. Sunday looks good with highs around 50 under a mix of cloud and sun. Monday looks mainly cloudy and Election Day brings a chance of showers with highs around 56.
