Clifford Crouch has huge vote lead in Assembly race

(WBNG) – New York State Assemblyman Clifford Crouch (R) is likely to win another term in office.

With 94 percent of districts reporting in, Crouch has a hefty vote count in comparison to Nick Libous, who is running on the Conservative party line, with 30,712 votes to Libous’ 5,370.

Crouch was first elected to New York State Assembly in 1995.

Nick Libous is the son of former New York State Senator Tom Libous.

The 122nd Assembly District of New York State includes Broome, Chenango, Delaware and Otsego Counties.

Crouch defeated Libous in the primary election for the Republican ticket in September.
