Brissett drops 21 as Cuse blows past Northeastern

BINGHAMTON (WBNG) — Syracuse sophomore forward Oshae Brissett scored a game-high 21 points Tuesday night inside the Carrier Dome as the Orange blew past Northeastern for their third straight victory, 72-49. Brissett also grabbed 14 rebounds for his second double-double of the season. Despite Tyus Battle and Frank Howard combining for four points, the Orange handled the Huskies with ease, limiting Northeastern to 34-percent from the field and 21.4-percent from three.

Elijah Hughes added 17 points in the victory and Buddy Boeheim scored 11 off the bench.

Final score: Syracuse (6-2) – 72, Northeastern (4-5) – 49

Syracuse hosts Georgetown on Saturday inside the Carrier Dome at 3:30 p.m.
