Endicott man arrested as part of crack cocaine investigation

ENDICOTT (WBNG) — An Endicott man faces multiple felonies following a Wednesday afternoon drug bust.

State police say a search warrant was carried out on a third-floor apartment at 1401 Pine Street in Endicott. The search was the result of an investigation into crack cocaine sales in the Endicott area.

During the search, investigators say about 48 grams of crack cocaine and 25 grams of heroin were found. The drug have an estimated street value of about $7,500, authorities say.

Troopers also say $2,000 in cash and a small amount of marijuana were found.

Rolando Kennedy, 38, of Endicott was arrested following the search. He was charged with the following:

  • Two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree, class B felonies
  • Tampering with physical evidence, a class E felony

Kennedy was arraigned and sent to the Broome County Jail without bail.

Authorities told 12 News on Wednesday multiple people were taken into custody in connection with the bust. Troopers did not say Wednesday if more people could face charges.
