‘Missing Vulnerable Adult Alert’ canceled for Vestal man

UPDATE 11:45 P.M.

VESTAL (WBNG) — The Vestal Police Department said Charles McGlynn has been located. He was found safely and is in good condition.

An alert for the Vestal man who had been missing was canceled as of 11:24 p.m. Wednesday.

Vestal Police also says thank you to anyone who spread the word about the situation.

VESTAL (WBNG) — The New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services on Wednesday announced a Missing Vulnerable Adult Alert for 87-year-old Charles McGlynn of Vestal.

Authorities say McGlynn may be in need of medical attention.

Officials say he was last seen on Hazel Drive in Vestal at 3 p.m. Tuesday.

McGlynn is believed to be driving a 2009 gray Honda Civic with the New York registration ANW-2161.

He was last seen wearing a white shirt, blue jacket and blue jeans. Authorities say Charles wears glasses and has a white moustache.
