Bogart on Sage: ‘He’s everywhere’

BINGHAMTON (WBNG) — The Owego boy’s basketball team has dreams of a Section IV Class B Championship this season. Thursday night, the Indians picked up another big victory, defeating Johnson City, improving their record to 11-2.Senior forward Kobe Bogart had a monster game with 36 points, but senior guard Christian Sage aided the charge as well, dropping 23 points and playing exceptional defense. According to Bogart, Sage did it all while not feeling well.

“He’s everywhere,” said Owego senior forward Kobe Bogart. “He’s sick right now and he’s still everywhere. (He’s) faster than any guard I know.”

“Little bit of everything,” said Owego senior guard Christian Sage. “We didn’t want to lose tonight, because our division, we don’t want to lose in division. So, we gotta win every game from now on.”

Owego is back in action on Tuesday, January 22 at home against Elmira-Notre Dame.
