Forecast Discussion:
Arctic high pressure has settled over the area and tonight will be bitterly cold with lows ranging from -15 to around 0. Winds will slowly decrease but wind chills could still range from -30 east of I81 to 15 to 20 below elsewhere.

We’ll see some sunshine early Tuesday before clouds increase ahead of some precipitation for Wednesday. Highs Tuesday climb into the upper teens to mid 20s. It will not be as cold Tuesday night with lows around 20.

A wintry mix is expected Wednesday. This wintry mix includes the chance of snow, sleet, freezing rain and even rain. The duration of any frozen precipitation will impact how slippery, or icy, it will get. Be sure to check the forecast for any changes.

Some snow showers are possible Thursday with highs around 33. Friday looks dry with colder weather returning. Highs will be in the low 20s with overnight lows in the single digits.

A slight chance of snow showers returns Saturday with highs in the upper teens to around 20. Sunday and Monday look tranquil as well with highs in the upper 20s.
