VESTAL (WBNG) — New and returning students were greeted with a cold start to the new semester at Binghamton University on Tuesday.
Students were heavily bundled up for the frigid weather as they made their way to their first classes of 2019.
Students who spoke with 12 News say they’re just happy to get back in a routine.
“Binghamton is a very interesting campus and there’s always a ubiquity of things to do,” said Binghamton University freshman Ben Limsumalee. “I’m excited to take things I learned in the first semester and apply it to the second semester. You know, it’s like another chance to get things right.”
A blizzard that swept through the entire northeast made moving in a hassle over the weekend, with many students traveling from outside the Southern Tier.
