No injuries reported after car strikes pole in Town of Maine

5:55 P.M. UPDATE

TOWN OF MAINE (WBNG) — New York State Police say no one was injured after a car hit a telephone pole on 2107 Route 26. Saturday evening.

State police say they will be no charges for the driver of the vehicle.

According to NYSEG, the car striking the pole did not cause any power outages.

Authorities say the road was temporarily blocked.

The Broome County Sheriff and Union Center Fire also responded to this incident.


 

TOWN OF MAINE (WBNG) — Crews are responding to a car crash at 2107 Rt. 26 Saturday evening.

Dispatchers told 12 News that a fire department and police were responding to the scene, but were unable to verify which specific agencies.
