HARPURSVILLE (WBNG) — The Harpursville Central School District announced that a capital project and transportation vehicle vote passed.
117 people voted yes for the capital project to 40 against, while 124 voted yes and 32 voted no for to purchase transportation vehicles.
According to the school district’s website, the Capital Improvement Project will cost $10,651,665 and the transportation vehicles will cost $417,000.
The district says the project will improve infrastructure in the school district while updating and improving school buildings.
The vote will also allow the district to buy three buses and two minivans.
