National Volunteer week is coming up in April and every year the Rural Health Network, United Way and the Volunteer Administrators of the Southern Tier host the National Volunteer Week Conference and Volunteer Recognition Event.
Volunteers are key to helping to community and non-profits in the area. This event will recognize some of those hardworking volunteers that dedicate their life to helping others. It will also focus on how volunteers can help their communities and educate non-profits about volunteers and more.
During the conference there will be workshops focused on volunteer management, non-profit advocacy, and communications and storytelling.
The Annual National Volunteer Week Conference and Volunteer Recognition Event is on April 10 at the Binghamton Club. The conference will be from 8:30 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. followed by the recognition event from noon to 2 p.m.
Registration is open and can be done online.
