BINGHAMTON (WBNG) — Next Wednesday marks ten years since the tragic shootings at the American Civic Association in Binghamton. The ACA is a nonprofit organization that integrates immigrants and refugees into our community.
On April 3, 2009, 13 people were shot and killed during business hours. The gunman then killed himself.
The American Civic Association, which is located on Front Street, is partnering with the Crime Victims Assistance Center to host a series of events to commemorate the tragedy ahead of, and during, Crime Victim Rights Week.
