Rossi’s Pizza in Endicott adds organic leafy greens grown by Agzeit to its menu

ENDICOTT (WBNG) — A local pizza place is adding new options to its menu while supporting local organic farming.

Rossi’s Pizza on Oak Hill Avenue in Endicott is now selling and serving produce grown by Agzeit Farms.

Tiger Ventures, a student organization at Union-Endicott Central School that helps Agzeit Farms was there Monday to help stock the shelves.

You can either come in and purchase the packaged greens right off the shelf, or ask to add them to your salad.

Tiger venture volunteers are excited to see the food they helped grow being spread into the community.

Rossi’s Pizza as well as Tiger Venture Volunteers are both excited to be collaborating to better the community.

“It kind of gives me a sense of being proud of myself because it’s something I did and it’s there for other people which kind of affects my life in a very positive way,” says Tiger Ventures member Seth Corbin.

“Being involved in the community, Rossi’s tries to do whatever we can. Especially for the kids,” says John Lanza, owner of Rossi’s Pizza.

Agzeit is an indoor farming company that grows organic produce.

Tiger Ventures helps maintain the growing space they have right in the Union-Endicott school.
