Forecast Discussion:

Some high, thin clouds will persist tonight with lows in the upper 20s to mid 30s. Winds will be light to calm.

Filtered sun through high clouds is expected Thursday. There could even be a period of cloudy skies. Highs will likely struggle to 50. If we see more sun, and clouds do not make it here, temperatures would likely be 5-7 degrees warmer. There is a very small chance of an afternoon shower, especially north and west. Most of the area will be dry.

On Friday, a storm will lift into the Great Lakes on the way to Ontario and Quebec. Winds will increase, and with a decent amount of warm air out ahead of it, highs should get back to the 60s. Rain should hold off until later in the afternoon and evening. The chance of precipitation is 70%.

There has been another change to Saturday’s forecast. The change is to increase temperatures into the mid and upper 60s. We are not expecting precipitation under a sun and cloud mix.

Sunday, clouds will increase ahead of a storm for Sunday night and Monday. The chance of rain increases to 60% during the afternoon and to 90% overnight. Highs Sunday will be in the mid 50s and drop several degrees to around 53 Monday. Tuesday looks a bit unsettled. We’ll introduce a 20% chance of a mixed or rain shower. Highs climb through the 40s to near 50.

Next Wednesday brings sun and clouds with highs back around 60.
