A cut off area of low pressure in the mid atmosphere will SLOWLY drift northeast through the weekend and even into early next week! This is going to keep our weather quite unsettled with at least a slight chance, or more, of rain each of the 3 days. The heavy rain from Friday night will be gone by 8am Saturday and the chance of rain will decrease to around 30% in the afternoon. There could be an isolated thunderstorms. Highs Saturday climb into the upper 60s and with any sun, which is possible later in the day, could surpass 70 in some spots.
The cut off low still meanders into western and central PA Sunday and although we expect some long dry periods for Easter, we can not completely rule out a few showers or a thundershower because of the location of it. Highs Sunday drop into the upper 50s to around 60.
By Monday, the low makes its way to around the NYC/NJ area. Expect mostly cloudy skies and a 30% chance of occasional showers. Highs will be in the low to mid 60s. Tuesday and Wednesday are also slightly unsettled with limited sun and a slight chance of rain. Highs will be in the upper 50s to low 60s. By next Friday, the chance of shower is around 40%.
