Serena Gay commits to Niagra University

BINGHAMTON (WBNG) — On Thursday, Seton Catholic senior Serena Gay signed her letter of intent to run track at Niagra University.

At Seton, Gay set the school record in the 100 and 200 meter dash, and made it to state qualifier in the last three years in sprinting events. Her love of running is what made her want to continue her athletic career, in college.

“I just loved it so much,” said Serena Gay. “I had such supportive coaches all throughout high school, and they really pushed me to my hardest, and it just made me love it even more. As the years went on, I just fell in love with it and I just wanted to continue with my athletic career.”
