Domestic dispute leads to knife fight in Endicott, police say

ENDICOTT (WBNG) — The Endicott Police Department has released new information related to a stabbing in the village Friday evening.

Officers responded around 6:30 p.m. to 220 Odell Ave. for reports of a dispute.

According to police, an investigation found that a couple was in the middle of a physical argument and “the perpetrator was brandishing a knife, when several other subjects responded to the residence to assist the victim.”

Police say a fight broke out, leaving three people with stab wounds. Two of them were taken to local hospitals, treated and released.

Authorities say the victim of the domestic incident was wounded and treated at the scene by emergency medical staff.

As a result of the situation, police say 31-year-old Christopher Camacho of Endicott was charged with two counts of assault in the second degree, a class D felony.

According to police, Comacho was one of the people treated at the hospital.

He was sent to the Broome County Jail on $500 cash bail or $1,000 bond.
