GREENE (WBNG) — Hundreds of students from across the southern tier made their way to the Raymond Corporation for the company’s inaugural engineering day.
Students were able to participate in a dozen interactive exhibits. They say the event inspired them to look into careers in the STEM field.
“I think its really cool seeing everything that I’m capable of doing when I’m older. All these kind of new technologies that were coming out with and were still advancing. So it’s cool to know that I can do this when I get older,” said student Paige Drumm.
The exhibits included 3-D printing, automation, as well as virtual and augmented reality.
