VESTAL (WBNG) — Today, Vestal senior J.T. Stirpe signed his national letter of intent to play lacrosse at Syracuse University.
As a golden bear, Stirpe compiled a number of accomplishments. He finished with 170 career points, was a four-time first-team all-star for Section IV Class B, was a three-time Section IV champion, a two-time Regional Champion, and captain. He also went All-State and was named an All-American. Stirpe has left an impact on the Vestal lacrosse program, but is excited for the opportunity to play at one of the best lacrosse program’s in the country.
It’s really important to me because like for the last for years, playing high school lacrosse for Vestal has been a great experience, and it’s definitely helped me become the player I am today,” said Stirpe. “I worked pretty hard for it, and it was definitely since a young age, I always wanted to go there, and now that I committed, it’s pretty nice.”
