ENDICOTT (WBNG) — A Union-Endicott fifth grader from Charles F. Johnson Elementary is ending her time in elementary school with a notable attendance record.
The U-E school district says that student Victoria Long has achieved near perfect attendance having missed only one day of school between kindergarten and fifth grade.
The school district says that Long is the only fifth grader district wide to make this achievement.
Although Long has one absence, she says she doesn’t remember when that was. She also says that, thanks to her great teachers, she truly loves school.
Next year, Victoria will move on to middle school, and she hopes to keep her perfect attendance in play.
