ENDICOTT (WBNG) — Endicott Tractor closed up shop for good Saturday after serving the community for 30 years.
Owners say the closure is because they have decided to retire.
The locally owned business, located at 120 W. Main St., sold all kinds of power equipment, and held an auction to sell off the remainder of its inventory.
Dozens of customers attended the auction, and many were sad to see the store close.
“Some of my customers are not happy about it, some are saying goodbye,” explained owner Emil Schneider. “It is a little hard to say to the customers that we’ve had over all the years.”
With the store closing, the owners say they are excited to enjoy the new adventures of being retired.
