Study finds people eat less healthy during work hours

(WBNG) — The American Heart Association conducted a survey which found that over half of American employees who eat lunch during work hours struggle to find healthy options.

According to the survey, the reasons for this include a lack of healthy food available at or near work, convenience, and taste.

Nutrition experts say that extra planning and meal prepping can prevent this problem.

Experts say that people who find themselves eating unhealthily or not eating at all during the work day can become extra fatigued and unable to focus.

Nutrition experts recommend that employees prepare their lunch for work the night before.
