NIAGARA FALLS, Ontario (WBNG/WIVB) — A man survived a tumble over the Canadian side of Horseshoe Falls early Tuesday morning.
As reported by CBS affiliate WIVB, officers responded to Horseshoe Falls, on the Canadian side of Niagara Falls, to a report of someone on the edge.
Responding officers found a man who jumped a retaining wall into a river, and then went over the falls.
The man was found sitting on rocks at the lower Niagara river basin and was taken to an area hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
A reason has not been listed for why the man went over the falls.
