We will be heating up today and with a southwest breeze, our dew point temperatures will be going up too. It’s going to be a hot and muggy day. With the heat and humidity, there will be showers and thunderstorms. Even though these will be scattered, heavy rain is possible. The chance of showers and thunderstorms will decrease Tuesday night but we’ll still keep them in the forecast.
For Wednesday until Sunday, think tropical. The remnants of Hurricane Barry will be moving through and interacting with a cold front. Hot and muggy with rain and thunderstorms. We’ll keep the hot and muggy conditions into the weekend.
A cold front coming through on Monday will give us break from the steamy weather.
