Ponies lose suspended game, game 2 rained out

BINGHAMTON (WBNG) – On Wednesday the Ponies dropped the remainder of Tuesday’s suspended game, 8-6. The regularly scheduled game was postponed.

The game resumed play in the fourth inning with the Ponies trailing 4-0. Binghamton put up a quick three runs including a Gavin Cecchini two out RBI single.

Reading’s Austin Bosart hit his third home run of the series to put the game out of reach. Barrett Barnes hit a home run in the loss.

Rumble Ponies – 6 (12-16), Fightin Phils – 8 (18-9)

Binghamton begins a four game series with Akron starting tomorrow night.
