UPDATE: Police locate missing Binghamton woman

BINGHAMTON (WBNG) — The Binghamton Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating 68-year-old Irene Earl.

According to police, she weighs approximately 130 pounds and is five feet, six inches tall.

Police say Earl was last seen at her home, which is 3 Vine St. in Binghamton, around 8 p.m. on Sunday.

Investigators say she was wearing a beige-patterned shirt, beige shorts and white sneakers. Police say she was holding a small purse.

Authorities say she left the residence and made statements with thoughts of harming herself.

“She has an inoperable vehicle, so it is believed she is likely travelling by foot in the Binghamton Area,” police wrote in a news release. “Please be aware of Irene Earl and If located check welfare and notify the Binghamton Police Department.”
