TOWN OF NANTICOKE (WBNG) — Multiple agencies were called Tuesday morning to help knock down a barn fire in the town of Nanticoke.
Fire officials say it happened around 5:20 a.m. at 4007 NYS Route 26.
According to Glen Aubrey Fire Chief Gary Smith, when crews arrived the fire was “fully involved.” As of 8 a.m. Tuesday, they were still working to put out hot spots.
Authorities say there were no injuries to humans or animals, as the barn was vacant.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
