By concert time tonight, storms will be beginning to wind down, but scattered rain chances remain tonight at times. Saturday we’ll rinse and repeat with another shortwave, though rain coverage will be lower through the day, before picking up after sunset into Saturday night. Just as we wrap up the weekend, we’ll also ramp up the heat and humidity along with keeping isolated showers and storms in the forecast. Highs will be in the upper 80’s Sunday through Tuesday, with heat index values into the lower and middle 90’s. Low temperatures won’t cool much either, staying in the middle to upper 60’s.
Finally, we’ll get some movement into the pattern, with a low and cold frontal boundary sweeping through by Wednesday. This will be the last day with a daily rain chance, as temperatures return to seasonal by late next week. Thursday and next Friday will see plenty of sun with highs back in the 70’s.
