New York State Fair kicks off

SYRACUSE (WBNG) — The New York State Fair kicks off Wednesday with the gates opening to the public at 9 a.m.

There will be a $1 admission fee for everyone Wednesday. There are plenty of events to check out on opening day including the 4-H horse show, K-9’s in flight, Circus Hollywood as well as the rock band “Bad Company” at 8 p.m. in the Chevy Court Stage.

The last day of the fair is Monday, September 2.
