Police say an investigation found that for an unknown reason, possibly medically related, 62-year-old Edward M. Walley Jr. of Delhi went off the roadway, into a ditch and struck a utility pole before the vehicle rolled on to its passenger side.

Troopers say Walley was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.

An autopsy is scheduled for Thursday, officials say.
