Saturday: Partly cloudy skies, with some breaks of more sunshine. Winds: N 5-10 mph, High: 71 (67-73)
Saturday night: Mostly clear skies, patchy valley fog likely. Winds: L&V, Low: 50 (44-53)
Sunday: Mostly sunny skies. High: 73, Low: 52
Saturday we can expect some more of the same, though it does look like we’ll get a little more sunshine. A good mix of sun and clouds will get us back into the 70’s during the day, before another cool and foggy night. High pressure sticks around into both Sunday and Monday, with gradually warming temperatures during the day and plenty of sunshine, with cool and clear nights to follow.
Changes don’t start happening until Tuesday, when the Twin Tiers will be stuck between an approaching cold front from the Great Lakes and a departing tropical feature off of the East Coast. The air will still be too dry for rain Tuesday, but cloud cover will increase. Some shower activity looks to arrive Tuesday night, with the highest chances of rain coming with the front on Wednesday. A few showers linger on into Thursday, but this is the only feature expected to bring us rain all week. Friday we’re back to partly cloudy skies, with highs back near 80 degrees and lows in the upper 50’s by this time frame.
