Foster parents are needed across New York State and Berkshire Farm Center and Services for Youth helps these foster families provide a temporary, safe haven for children.
Berkshire Farm Center and Services for Youth was founded in 1886 with a focus of healing and strengthening children in a family setting. Today, its mission continues: to strengthen children and families so they can live safely, independently, and productively within their home communities.
With over 100 programs statewide, Berkshire provides trauma-informed care right where families need services most; in their communities and in their homes. And, when working with families in their homes is not an option, Berkshire provides a safe haven for children in need of care through on of our over 500 certified foster homes, residential treatment center or community group homes. Berkshire serves approximately 2,000 children and families every day.
Berkshire Farm Center has locations statewide – the Binghamton Office is located on 2-8 Hawley Street in Binghamton.
