The cold front that brought showers and thunderstorms to Northeast PA yesterday will be slow to move through. We’ll keep showers and thunderstorms in the forecast for Thursday. There will be a better chance of showers in the morning with the chance of precipitation tapering to scattered showers in the afternoon. With partly cloudy skies tonight, there will be patchy fog.
A change for the positive for the next few days. We’ll be quiet again Friday with high pressure over Quebec.
A warm front, followed quickly by a cold front will give us showers and thunderstorms Saturday.
Some good news. A large body of high pressure will move from Ontario to the Mid Atlantic. This will give us partly cloudy to mostly sunny skies and slightly above average temperatures for the remainder of the forecast.
