Police: Child struck by car in Candor, in critical but stable condition

CANDOR (WBNG) – State police say a child is in the hospital after being struck by a car in Candor.

Troopers say the incident happened after 3:30 p.m. Sunday afternoon on Anderson Hill Road.

Officials say two kids who were playing together took car keys and started the car.

State police say the car was placed in gear and one child was hit by the vehicle.

Troopers say the child was transported to a hospital and is in critical but stable condition.
