State Police are looking for a vehicle stolen from an Apalachin home

APALACHIN (WBNG) — New York State Police at Owego are looking for a green 2010 Honda CRV they say was stolen.

Troopers say the vehicle was stolen from a home on Main Street in Apalachin late October 2 or early October 3. The vehicle was unlocked with the keys inside.

That night, police say several other residents reported that their cars were tampered with and items were stolen. Most of the vehicles were unlocked.

Troopers are looking for at least two suspects.

Police want to remind the public not to leave valuables in their vehicles and to keep them locked.

State Police ask anyone with information on the vehicle or suspects to contact them at (607) 687-3961.
