BINGHAMTON (WBNG) — On Sunday morning, animals at the Binghamton Zoo were joined by children and adults dressed up for the fall season.
“Howloween at the Zoo” had activity stations and crafts set up for people to enjoy. Children were able to redeem tokens earned from the stations for candy and other prizes.
In addition to this, animal enclosures were adorn with spooky decorations.
Organizers at the zoo say they were thrilled to provide a family-friendly event this fall.
“It’s like an enhanced trip to the zoo,” said Public Relations Coordinator Rachel Peppard. “All the animals are out, plus you get the games and activities for the kids, so it’s a really fun opportunity to get your whole family together and to really enjoy the fall season here at the zoo.”
Individuals looking for something a little more scary can look forward to “Boo at the Zoo.” The event will take place on Oct. 18, 19 and 20 as well as Oct. 25, 26 and 27 at 6:30 p.m.
