Section of Prospect Street to be closed for utility work beginning Tuesday morning

BINGHAMTON (WBNG) — Binghamton city officials say a portion of Prospect Street will be closed down beginning Tuesday morning.

City officials say the street will be closed to thru traffic from 8 a.m. Tuesday until 5 a.m. Wednesday to allow for underground utility work.

The closure affects the area between Glenwood Avenue and Mygatt Street.

Officials say local traffic will be permitted.
