Tercero trial: extradition, psychiatric evaluation causes adjournment

BINGHAMTON (WBNG) — The trial of Orlando Tercero continued on Tuesday afternoon.

The trial started with a request from the United States to extradite Tercero. The request was denied by the Nicaraguan court.

The prosecution proceeded to submit all the evidence for their case, however, the defense is looking to bring in another witness. The defense asked to adjourn, as they want the doctor that conducted a psychiatric evaluation on Tercero, to testify.
