Local salon looking to help women with cancer worry about one less thing

ENDICOTT (WBNG) — The Dollhouse N.Y.C. in Endicott is a new salon to the area and recently has been offering a free service to women who are undergoing breast cancer treatment.

Breast Cancer Awareness month may be over, but owner of The Dollhouse N.Y.C. wants women to know her offer for free eyebrow microblading or microshading still stands.

“I have a couple clients that go through treatments and come in here and talk about the issues they’re having with how they view themselves and hair loss,” said Beaman. “So, I figured it would help somebody.”

Beaman says while it is by no means a cure, she believes it will help women have one more thing to not have to worry about and feel beautiful during their treatment.

“We want to feel beautiful and it’s made me happy, so I want to make someone else feel happy,” said Beaman.

Beaman is offering this service to handful of women who come forward and share their story. She says she hopes to continue helping people in the community in various ways.

If you’re interested in the service, you can check out The Dollhouse N.Y.C. here.
