(WBNG) — The Delaware County Sheriff’s Office says one person has been arrested following a month-long investigation into narcotics sales.
Authorities say 25-year-old Willie L. Walker III of Fishes Eddy was arrested Thursday and charged with three counts of criminal sale of a controlled substance in the 4th degree, class C felonies.
The sheriff’s office says Walker’s arrest was the result of an investigation into the sales of narcotics and prescription medication in the village and town of Hancock. They say Walker sold prescription medications from his residence in Fishes Eddy and in the village of Hancock.
On Friday, a Delaware County Court judge ordered walker to be remanded to the Delaware County Correctional Facility in lieu of $5,000 bail.
In an official press release, Delaware County Sheriff Craig S. DuMond said his deputies did an “excellent job” with this case.
The Village of Hancock Police Department investigated with the investigation.
