Tercero receives maximum sentence in murder of Binghamton University student

NICARAGUA (WBNG) — Orlando Tercero learned his fate in a Nicaraguan court room Friday morning.

Tercero has been sentenced to 30 years in prison, the maximum sentence, for the 2018 Murder of Binghamton University Student Haley Anderson.

He was found guilty by a Nicaraguan judge on Nov. 1.

Tercero will not be extradited to the United States.
