BINGHAMTON (WBNG) — WBNG’s annual coats for kids clothing drive is coming down to the last week.
12 News caught up with one of the businesses that have chosen to participate in the drive.
Servpro on Conklin ave in Binghamton has seen a steady flow of people stopping by to donate gently used or new coats, hats, and gloves.
“It’s been going great, we’ve had great community support. We have people that come in daily and bring in new and gently used coats that they’ve purchased as well as hats and gloves, and other businesses have used ours as drop-off locations as well. We have had to empty our bins frequently and it’s so nice to see that.” said Nicole Travis the Co-owner and Office Manager of Servpro of Broome County.
Servpro says it’s important to come together as a community and provide warm clothes for children in need.
Donations are still being accepted until Friday November 30.
