Owego Police asking property owners to be ‘vigilant’, says multiple larcenies have been reported

OWEGO (WBNG) — The Owego Police Department announced in a Facebook post Friday that it is investigating multiple reports of burglaries and larcenies in the village.

The police department is asking individuals to be mindful of their property and report anything stolen or suspicious.

They ask for people with surveillance systems to review their footage and report it to the Owego Police Department if they see any suspicious activity.

This statement follows similar statements from the Endicott Police Department and Broome County Sheriff’s Office.  Both agencies reported they are investigating multiple larcenies in Facebook posts earlier this week.

12 News spoke to the Endicott Police Department regarding the larcenies Thursday.  To read that article, click here.
