VESTAL (WBNG) -- On Monday night, the Binghamton women's basketball team earned its eleventh win of the season, topping NJIT 75-40. This marks the team's best non-conference record during its 19 years as a Division I program.
Kai Moon led the Bearcats with 25 points, and is now averaging a career best 21.4 points per game. Carly Boland added 15 points, while Karlee Krchnavi finished with a game-high 13 rebounds.
The Bearcats shot 46.8 percent from the field, in what was coach Bethann Shapiro Ord's 100th career win.
Binghamton - 75 (11-2), NJIT - 40 (3-10)
The Bearcats open America East play Sunday at 2 p.m., at Albany.
