VESTAL (WBNG) -- Dozens showed up at the Vestal Coal House for the YMCA's New Year's Resolution Run held at the Vestal Coal House.
The 5K brings people together promoting health and fitness. The run also aimed to make a difference in the community.
"New Year resolutions are obviously always big for people, " said YMCA Senior Director of Healthy Living Scott Tota.
"We want to start on the right foot. Why not start a day early and out goal is for people to realize it's not just for one, its a whole year. So we're trying to get people to continue to exercise and get out and enjoy the weather," he said.
All proceeds from the run are donated to the YMCA's Annual Fundraising Campaign.
