SILVER SPRING TOWNSHIP, Pa. (WIVB/WBNG) -- WIVB reports a Western New York business owner was killed in a helicopter crash Thursday evening.

58-year-old Mark Croce was killed when the helicopter he was piloting crashed into the ground for an unknown reason. A passenger in the helicopter was also killed.

No one on the ground was hurt, WIVB reports.

Croce's helicopter was heading from Buffalo, N.Y. to Washington D.C.

The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating the cause of the crash.
